An electric car is charged at a charging station in Seoul’s Geumcheon district. The Ministry of Environment announced on Feb. 16 that a three week period of accepting applications ended on Feb. 15, with more than 1,200 applications received, with 33 of 72 municipalities having received applications. The central government provided 14 million won (US$12,229) in support, and municipal government provided between 3 million (US$2,620) and 12 million (US$10,480).
