[%%IMAGE1%%]<p>Kia Motors is developing an online sales platform to sell its vehicles directly to customers in Europe. The South Korean automaker will test the platform in Germany within the second half of 2020. The plan is for the entire sales process to occur online, and cars being delivered to customers’ front doors after sales are complete. Kia launched its first online sales platform in India in August 2019, and has been working to steadily expand it since. Automakers cannot directly sell vehicles to customers in the US, so Kia is building an online platform that goes through dealers instead. Around half of the US’ Kia dealers have established an online sales platform. Kia also plans to expand online sales platforms to Russia and China. (provided by Kia Motors)</p>
