Tickets for overseas concerts by South Korean pop idol Rain ("bi" in Korean) are moving quickly.
According to StarM, a marketing agency in charge of Rain's World Tour concert, tickets for the Korean pop star's first performances in Las Vegas on December 23-24 were sold out in seven days.
Although the highest ticket price was US$261, StarM said it was not difficult to sell all of the tickets.
Tickets for Rain's performance at an 8,000-seat stadium in Singapore are selling well also, the agency said.
Rain will perform on December 15-16 in Seoul. Network Live, an organizer of Rain's Seoul performance, said that the 10,000 tickets, priced at 176,000 won (US$185) each, sold out just 30 minutes after they went on sale.
During his World Tour, Rain will stage a total of 35 performances in 12 countries, including China, Japan, Hong Kong, and Taiwan.
