Lee says, “I am taking away your mike.” President Lee Myung-bak replaced KBS President Jung Yun-joo with KBS Business President Lee Byong-soon Aug. 16.KBS informed Kim, a famous entertainer and host of “Star Golden Bell,” a popular entertainment program, on Oct. 9 that the station plans to replace him after Oct. 12. Observers say that KBS’s move was political revenge for Kim’s past remarks and behavior, including directing late President Roh Moo-hyun’s memorial ceremony.Next to Kim’s door are other doors to other star’s dressing rooms, including those of Yoon Do-hyun and Chung Kwan-yong, who have been critical of the Lee administration.(Hankyoreh Geurimpan, October 12, 2009)
