MB education polarization
» MB education polarization.
An excavator representing ¡°MB education¡± commences construction on a dam called ¡°educational polarization¡± in the Education River.

Two student fish come to a stop and shed tears because they are unable to go beyond the dam, which only lets students pass that are receiving special educational favors that the Lee Myung-bak administration has pursued since its inauguration.

The Lee administration¡¯s newly ¡®constructed¡¯ education sector is receiving similar criticism for constructing artificial barriers that will ultimately impede the universal flow of educational opportunities. In December of last year, the Lee administration and ruling Grand National Party (GNP) announced a foreign language school reform plan that would sharply reduce student enrollment at foreign language high schools, forcing the schools to raise tuition to make up for reduced enrollment. The schools will also require candidates to the school to submit their reading history and academic study plans, which observers are saying actually opens up new paths for the private education market whose skyrocketing tuition fees are currently causing extreme hardship upon or are out of reach of the common people.
