Education for the homeless
Senior homeless people take a class informing them of the rights of homeless people in a classroom run by non-profit organization ¡°Homeless Action¡± in Seoul¡¯s Seodaemun district, Sept. 1.

Homeless Action promotes homeless people¡¯s independence and human rights, and has run weekend evening classes which have transformed into a regular program ¡°Homeless Evening Classes¡± in 2007.

Homeless Evening Class has 31 volunteer teachers and 35 students, and is the first regular class aimed at serving homeless people in South Korea. It opened on Aug. 16 and holds classes including Korean language, basic English and computer four times per week.
