Live fire drill for military’s pride

The orange dotted line in the West Sea represents the Northern Limit Line (NLL). South Korean marine corps on Yeonpyeong Island fired roughly 2,000 shells towards the orange dotted firing range, 40 km wide by 20km long.

The blue dotted line represents the North Korea-declared Military Demarcation Line from Sept. 1999. The blue circle with a white star represents major North Korean bases, while the blue circle with a plane represents Taetan Airbase.

The below photos show the weapons, K-9 howizer, F-15K and Aegis destroyers "King Sejong" ship the South military mobilized in the drills.
