In the above photo, a dozen of ducks swim in a small pond constructed for raising ducks named, “Corbusier Obungji,” made by public art project team Nonart Butart. Obungji means a pond for ducks and carps.

The wooden house was modeled after French architect Le Corbusier‘s Villa Savoye.

The photo below shows an old house wall on an alley that has been painted like a small forest by Gil Da-rye of Nonart Butart.

The Nonart Butart project team, sponsored by Gyeonggi Culture Foundation and Namyangju City, has changed 1,200-pyeong-wide riverside area that is located near Gwangreung Forest and owned by the city into natural ecological space including a public garden, pond, village school and rice paddies attached to homes.
