Hot soup season

Residents eat street food to warm up at a street vendor in Myeongdong of Seoul’s Jung District on Nov. 20, when the morning temperature fell below zero degrees Celsius for the first time this autumn.

The Korea Meteorological Administration (KMA) said the sudden cold wave is expected to return on Nov. 23. However, the first report of the temperature falling below zero degrees falls 25 days later than usual, the KMA added.
