Bong Joon-ho’s “Parasite” took home two prizes from the 2020 British Academy Film Awards (BAFTA), held at the Royal Albert Hall in London on Feb. 2. The satirical dark comedy was awarded the prizes for best foreign language film and best original screenplay, becoming the second South Korean film to winter a BAFTA prize after Park Chan-wook’s “The Handmaiden” in 2018. “I never imagined I’d be standing here at the Royal Albert Hall,” Bong said after accepting the screenplay prize.
