Approximately 40 participants of the “International Conference against the Asia Pacific Missile Defense and for the End of Arms Race” visit the Odusan Unification Observatory in Paju-city in Gyeonggi Province, April 16.

From the Odusan Unification Observatory, where North Korea appears very close, participants experience the division of the two Koreas with their own eyes.

The Conference is being held by ten South Korean civic organizations to discuss the matter of U.S.-led Asia Pacific missile defense efforts. The conference continues through April 18.
