Korean Sharing Movement is launching a donation campaign to make a nameplate for ethnic Koreans who died on the Russian island of Sakhalin without family, the group announced on July 5. The donation campaign will run until Aug. 31, seeking funds for ethnic Koreans who relocated during the Japanese colonial era. They are seeking 8,000 donations of 5,000 won (US$4.32) to reach the fundraising goal of forty million won (US$34,575).
