The deep sea search for the Stellar Daisy, a a South Korean very large ore carrier (VLOC) that sank off the coast of Uruguay in the South Atlantic on Mar. 31, 2017, has begun. Infinity, a US next generation seabed survey and ocean exploration company, announced on Feb. 14 that its ship, Seabed Constructor, has found the site where the Stellar Daisy sank. The ship will be dispatching four autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) to search for the Stellar Daisy’s wreckage. (provided by the family members of the Stellar Daisy crew members)
