Amid South Korea’s nationwide boycott campaign against Japanese products, South Korean sales of major Japanese brands like Uniqlo have fallen by half in the past month. Credit card purchases of Japanese products have decreased by as much as a fifth. Card purchases for Uniqlo, in particular, fell significantly by a whopping 70.1%.
