New Zealand Ambassador to South Korea Philip Turner, the first openly gay ambassador to South Korea, also became the first homosexual ambassador to visit the Blue House with his partner, on Oct. 18. Philip and his husband attended a reception for foreign diplomats and met with South Korean President Moon Jae-in and first lady Kim Jung-sook.
