Amid an outbreak of the coronavirus in Wuhan, China, a shop in the Japanese town of Hakone, Kanagawa Prefecture, has put up a sign saying “No Chinese allowed.” The owner of the confectionary store told the Asahi Simbun newspaper that he wants to protect himself from the virus and therefore does not want Chinese people in his store. The sign clarified that Hong Kongese and Taiwanese are allowed. The photo shows a quarantine notice in Tokyo’s Haneda Airport on Jan. 20.
