The father of the operator of the world’s largest child pornography site, Welcome to Video, has pleaded for his son to be punished in South Korea rather than being extradited to the US. The father referred to extradition as “cruel” and started a Blue House petition to keep him in the country. The petition has sparked a severe backlash on social media, however, accusing the father of thinking of only his child and not other people’s children. The father has also submitted a petition to the Seoul High Court pleading to not have his son spend time in an American prison.
