The Seoul Kyoreh Hana, a South Korean peace activist organization, held a press conference Thursday in front of the Japanese Embassy in Seoul to condemn the International Olympic Committee (IOC) and the Japanese government for the latter’s use of the Rising Sun Flag and a map labeling Dokdo as Japanese territory.

The organization planned to send letters to the IOC and the Japanese government.

Due to Level 4 social distancing measures applied throughout the greater Seoul area, the press conference was held via telephone with one organizer present as a moderator.
