In-person classes have been expanded to regions currently under Level 4 social distancing measures on Monday. According to plans announced in August by the Ministry of Education regarding measures to be taken during the fall semester, starting on Monday, in-person attendance will be increased to two-thirds for most grades.

Students in years one and two of elementary school will be allowed to attend daily, while half of third through sixth graders will be allowed to attend in-person classes.

Middle schoolers’ in-person attendance will be capped at two-thirds. Third-year high schoolers will be allowed to attend in-person classes every day, while first- and second-year high schoolers will be allowed to attend at half or full attendance.
