The three members of a “three steps, and one bow for people, life, and peace” pilgrimage on Dongjak Bridge in Seoul, May 7. The pilgrimage led by Fathers Paul Moon Kyu-hyon and Chun Jong-hun and Venerable Sukyung started at Kyerong Mountain in the South Chungcheong Province and travels four kilometers a day.

The prostration, ochetuji, is taken after every three steps and is part of a Buddhist tradition that involves touching five parts of your body to the earth or one’s elbows, knees and forehead to the ground. They reached Seoul on May 16.
