1,000 Won minimum wage increase

The members of Korean Women’s Trade Union carry pickets in the shape of 1,000 Won note to campaign for an 1,000 Won (0.8 dollars) increase in the minimum wage at Yeouido located in Seoul, May 21.

Women have been experiencing an increase in discriminatory treatment from companies, including a reduction in wagers and being the first fired during this economic crisis.
