Daeboreum celebration

During a celebration of Daeboreum, the day of the first full moon of the year by the lunar calendar, citizens gather together to view the burning of the Daljib, full moon house, which is made of wooden sticks and branches at Namsangol Traditional Folk Village, Feb. 28.

According to Korean tradition, if a person burns a Daljib on Daeboreum, they can escape misfortune during the year.
