A new report by the McKinsey Global Institute predicts that by 2030, 31% of the population of Seoul (3.2 million people) will be older than 60. This puts Seoul eight on the list of cities with the most people aged 60 and older, behind Nagoya, Japan and in front of Milan, Italy. In 2015, 1.84 million of Seoul’s 10.02 people were older than 60. (Hankyoreh file photo)
