A man yearns to see a deceased family member whose face is depicted on The Wall of Life, which has been set up at Cheonggyecheon Stream, in Seoul, and features pictures of organ donors, on Sept. 9. The Korean Organ Donor Program has conducted various campaigns since 1997 to encourage people to donate their heart, liver, kidneys, lungs, pancreas and corneas. In 2008, it designated Sept. 9 as Organ Donation Day, or SAVE9, and has carried out large public awareness events every year since. (by Shin So-young, staff photographer)
