At 10:30 am on Mar. 2, around 140 incoming students at Munmyeong High School in Gyeongsan, North Gyeongsang Province and 40 of their parents hold placards at the entrance ceremony, opposing the school’s use of the state-authored history textbook. Munmyeong is the only school in the country to use the textbook. The ceremony was held with only the school’s incoming middle school students, in the gymnasium. (by Kim Il-woo, Daegu correspondent)
