The Korean Confederation of Trade Unions (KCTU) gathered in front of the National Assembly in Seoul on Nov. 21 to protest the expansion of unit periods in flexible working hours. KCTU members also held a general strike in 14 regions throughout the country. Workers in Hyundai Motor production facilities, nurses, medical technicians and hospital workers partook in the demonstration.
