The Ministry of Education (MOE) is reviewing a plan to have high school students in their first and second years rotate between on-campus classes and online ones. Third-year students will begin on-campus classes on May 20. During an interview aired on Korea’s Buddhist Broadcasting System (BBS), Vice Education Minister Park Baeg-beom said, “Third-year students in high school will return to classes on May 20, provided no major events unfold before then.” Park added that students in their first and second year of high school, however, may rotate between online and on-campus classes, depending on how the country’s COVID-19 situation unfolds.
