[Photo] Infrared camera captures medical workers’ battle against COVID-19 in freezing temperatures

The temperature in Seoul dropped down to -11.2 degrees Celsius on the morning of Dec. 16. Despite the harsh drop in temperatures, medical workers continue their fight amid the country’s battle with COVID-19. Infrared cameras show how the extreme weather affects medical staff working in outdoor screening centers. One image shows the surface temperature of a medical worker’s face to be -6.1 degrees, while the face of a person getting tested registers a much warmer 3.4 degrees.
