During a visit to KOFIC Namyangju Studios on the morning of Apr. 29, a film-making studio complex in Namyangju, Gyeonggi-do, two brothers reenact the historic scene of South Korean President Moon Jae-in shaking hands with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un at the inter-Korean summit. While their mother photographs the moment, the older brother stands on the northern side (left) and the younger sibling stands on the southern side (right) of a set designed to resemble Panmunjeonm, a village in the DMZ where the Korean Armistice Agreement was signed on July 27, 1953, officially suspending the Korean War. Panmunjeom is also where the inter-Korean summit took place on Apr. 27, and in a historic moment President Moon even crossed the border into North Korea to pause briefly paused for a photograph while shaking hands with North Korean leader Kim Jong-un.
