The Straits Times, a Singapore English-language daily, has reported that the US has shortened its list of possible sites for the second North Korea-US summit down to two locations: Hanoi, Vietnam, and Bangkok, Thailand. According to the Jan. 13 report, both countries offered to host the summit. Both countries have diplomatic relations with not only the US but North Korea. This follows a Jan. 8 report by CNN naming Bangkok, Hanoi and Hawaii as possible locations. The photo shows North Korean leader Kim Jong-un and US President Donald Trump during their first summit in Singapore on June 12, 2018.
