Radio Free Asia (RFA) has reported that North Korean authorities have announced the confirmation of COVID-19 in the county in public lectures. Although they didn’t give any official figures, the public lecturers reportedly acknowledged that the North Korean government has identified COVID-19 cases in the country. The lecturers said cases were confirmed in Pyongyang, South Hwanghae province and North Hamgyong province. Previously, the North Korean government had denied any cases of COVID-19 within its borders.
