The world’s fifth largest undersea tunnel is set to open in South Korea. The Boryeong Undersea Tunnel stretches from Daecheon port in Boryeong, North Chungcheong Province, to Wonsan Island, spanning a total 6.9km. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport announced on June 9 that the tunnel opens today.
