[%%IMAGE1%%]<p>  The world’s fifth largest undersea tunnel is set to open in South Korea. The Boryeong Undersea Tunnel stretches from Daecheon port in Boryeong, North Chungcheong Province, to Wonsan Island, spanning a total 6.9km. The Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, and Transport announced on June 9 that the tunnel opens today. The four longest undersea tunnels are Tokyo Aqua Line (9.5km) in Japan, and the Bomlafjord (7.9km), the Eiksund (7.8km), and the Oslofjord (7.2km) in Norway.
