Japan’s best-known radio station has planned a special five-day program that will exclusively feature songs by BTS, the Korean boy group that’s in demand around the world.

Nippon Broadcasting System announced on Tuesday that it will be running a live radio program called “BTS My Best, Request” on Jan. 24-28. The program will begin each day at 8 pm and run for around two hours. The program returns this month following its first appearance last month.

The show will be hosted by Japanese celebrities who are fans of BTS. The hosts will play their own song selections, as well as songs requested by listeners.

The five hosts will be Muga Tsukaji, a comedian (Jan. 24); Masayuki Furuya, an emcee who has a good grasp on Korean culture (Jan. 25); Miho Miyazaki, a member of the Japanese girl group AKB48 (Jan. 26); Kiriko Isono, an actor (Jan. 27); and Tsukasa Saito, a comedian (Jan. 28).

“The program will feature BTS’ popular songs and deep cuts. It will have something for everyone, and not just fans,” reported the Yomiuri Shimbun, a Japanese daily newspaper.

BTS has recently been setting new records in Japan, including selling over 1 million copies of its greatest hits compilation there. As of Jan. 2, the album “BTS, The Best” had sold 1,002,000 copies to date.

This makes BTS the second South Korean act to sell over a million copies in Japan according to Oricon’s weekly albums chart, after the singer BoA.

On its official website, Oricon explained, “The last time that an overseas act reached 1 million albums sold was when BoA did it 16 years and seven months ago.”

“In terms of male acts, the last time was 17 years and nine months ago in 2004 by the band Queen,” it added.
