Biometric info collection on foreigners

A foreign visitor has his fingerprints and face screened at an immigration counter in Incheon International Airport, South Korea's main gateway west of Seoul, on Jan. 3. Starting on Jan. 1, South Korea implemented a revised immigration law requiring all foreign visitors aged 17 or older to have their biometric information collected as part of efforts to combat possible terrorist attacks.
