BTS topped the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, according to Billboard.
The group’s latest single, “Butter,” ousted teen sensation Olivia Rodrigo’s “Good 4 U” from the top of the chart, ending its eight-week streak.
This is the group’s fourth Hot 100 No. 1 since their first nine months ago with “Life Goes On,” meaning BTS has notched four No. 1 singles on the chart in the last nine months. Billboard said this is the second-best record since Justin Timberlake topped the chart four times in seven months and two weeks between 2006 and 2007.
BTS has also become the fastest group to land its first four No. 1s since Jackson 5 in 1970.
Meanwhile, the teaser video for the single broke the record for the most views on YouTube in the first 24 hours, and the single became the most streamed track on Spotify in the first 24 hours, USA TODAY reported.
The teaser video had racked up more than 283 million views as of Tuesday.
