South Korean novelist Han Kang has been selected by Future Library, a Norwegian public arts project that will store unread works from writers and publish them a century later. Han submitted her novel, “Dear Son, My Beloved,” which will remain in Oslo’s Deichman Library until its scheduled publication in 2114. At a ceremony held in a forest on the outskirts of Oslo, Han handed over her book to the project, which she likened to a “100-year prayer."
