South Korean portal sites such as Naver, Daum, and Nate have recently removed the comments section on articles related to celebrities, entertainment, and sports to fight cyberbullying. In a similar light, Twitter announced on Aug. 12 that it has developed a feature that allows users decide who can and can’t respond to their tweets. The feature is meant to protect users from verbal abuse and cyberbullying as well as spam. While blocked users cannot reply to a user’s tweet, they can still like it, retweet it, and share it.
