There are just under 20 days left until South Korea elects its next president.

Thursday marked the deadline for candidates to submit their campaign posters that will go up on walls around the country. A total of 14 candidates submitted posters by the deadline.

The government has announced that illegal acts including disruptions to campaign speeches or rallies and destruction of official campaign posters will be rigorously handled according to the relevant laws.
