Humans aren’t the only ones feeling the heat these days. As high temperatures and humidity hit Korea, Seoul Grand Park trotted out a special summer treat for some of our fellow members of the animal kingdom.

On Thursday, zookeepers at the park treated their four Asian elephants to massive popsicles made out of frozen fruits and vegetables and around 20 watermelons. The herbivores got to nosh on a variety of fresh foods like pineapples, coconuts, sweet corn and more.

The zookeepers even rigged up a giant shower for one of the elephants to cool off.

For the zoo’s hippos, staff arranged a fruit “cake” chock-full of protein, fat and vitamins that are easy to not get enough of when their bodies are stressed by high temperatures.
