More shady behavior by Sewol crew

This photo from the Apr. 16 sinking of the Sewol ferry shows a crew member with an electric radio in this hand after getting into a rescue boat (circled, on the left). On the right, a Coast Guard officer deploys lifeboats. The Sewol crew claimed that they couldn’t operate the lifeboats because the ship was too tilted, but this photo shows that the Coast Guard was able to, despite the angle. The Sewol has 46 lifeboats, so if the lifeboats had been deployed earlier, more passengers might have survived. (Yonhap News)
