This cartoon depicts Foreign Minister Yun Byung-se shopping for a suit at a department store on the day South Korea and the US announced the decision to deploy the THAAD missile defense system.　 A Ministry of Foreign Affairs official explained that on July 4, when going to work at a diplomatic mission in Seoul’s Hannam neighborhood, Yun slipped on a staircase, hurt his knee and tore his suit trousers. He then went to replace that suit on July 8, the day of the announcement, at Shinsegae Department store in Gangnam district.
