Roh Hoe-chan, head representative of the Justice Party, lept to his death from his apartment building in Seoul’s Jung District on July 23. Roh had been under investigation for suspicions of receiving 50 million won (US$44,333) from someone affiliated with a power blogger known as “Druking.” Police discovered a note on the scene, in which he admits to having accepted money, but not for illicit purposes. He also apologizes to his family in the notes.
