The Seoul Metropolitan Government has introduced its new fleet of electric buses. The first bus was put into circulation on Nov. 15, and eight more are expected to be deployed within the week. The buses will be supplied by Hyundai Motor and Edison Motors of South Korea and Higer Bus of China. The city has announced that it plans to expand its network of electric buses to 3,000 vehicles by 2025. Aside from being cleaner and less noisy, the new buses are feature more room for people with disabilities and mothers with baby carriages.
