South Korean President Moon Jae-in invited the leaders of the country’s five major political parties to a Blue House dinner on Nov. 10. After thanking the leaders for their condolences regarding his mother’s passing, Moon proceeded to discuss key issues, asking for their cooperation on legislation for political reform and improving the public livelihood. Present at the dinner were Lee Hae-chan of the ruling Democratic Party, Hwang Kyo-ahn of the Liberty Korea Party (LKP), Sohn Hak-kyu of the Bareunmirae Party, Sim Sang-jung of the Justice Party, and Chung Dong-young of the Party for Democracy and Peace.
