A dolphin in the Jangsaengpo Whale Museum in Ulsan has died. The dolphin’s death was on July 22, on the heels of a beluga whale death at Hanhwa Aqua Planet in Yeosu, South Jeolla Province, two days earlier. The deaths have enraged animal rights activists, who are now calling for the animals’ release. The dolphin in Ulsan was originally brought in from Japan and was estimated to be around 18 years old. The beluga whale in Yeosu was 12 years old.
