Olympics gymnastics gold medallist Yang Hak-seon performs his new technique, the “Yang 2” at Taeneung Athletes’ Village in Seoul on Feb. 27. The new technique adds a half turn to the Tsukahara triple turn that made him the first South Korean gymnastics champion at the 2012 London Olympics. He originally trained to ad d half turn to his “Yang 1” technique, but found that adding the half turn to the Tsukahara technique was easier. The new moves requires in-air movement of 1,260 degrees.
