Still leopards on the Korean peninsula?

About 30 footprints of a large mammal were found in Wonju, Gangwon Province on Apr. 11. The footprint was asymmetrical and appeared to have no claws, so the National Institute of Biological Resources concluded that they belonged to a leopard. Korean leopards are believed to have gone extinct in the early twentieth century. (by Kim Dae-ho)
