Among them, one is in critical condition while one is in intensive care. During a briefing on Mar. 28, Korea Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (KCDC) Deputy Director Kwon Jun-wook said that as of Mar. 24, 12:00 am, 121 healthcare workers in the city of Daegu and the surrounding region have become infected with COVID-19 while caring for patients, and that one of them is in critical condition while one is in intensive care. Among them, 14 are medical doctors, while 56 are nurses and 51 are nursing assistants. Furthermore, Kwon revealed that 34 of them are members of the Shincheonji religious sect.</p>
