Activist Kayak collided

On the afternoon of March 7, coast guard boats block French activist Benjamin Monet, 33, and a photographer from Gangjeong Village Newspaper from approaching Gureombi Rocks on a kayak. The activist and photographer collided with a Coast Guard boat and their kayak capsized. They were later rescued and arrested by the Coast Guard. (by Voice of Jeju)
