Humanitarian aid for North Korea starts

Staff from Green Umbrella Children's Foundation load flour and beans powder at a Bond Shed in Incheon, Mar. 12. The goods will be sent as humanitarian aid to North Korean children and pregnant women. The entire shipment totals 200 tonnes - 179.2t of flour and 20.8t of bean powder containing vitamin and minerals. The aid will be delivered to 50,000 children and pregnant women in North Korea's Nampo area through the Korean Council for Reconciliation and Cooperation. This is by far the largest shipment of humanitarian aid to North Korea since the Feb. 2013 inauguration of President Park Geun-hye. (by Shin So-young, staff photographer)
